Minot State women’s soccer faces split weekend

The Minot State Beavers are heading into a split weekend with momentum after a thrilling 3-2 win over Wayne State. Goals from Leah Salas, Anna Miotto, and Sabrina Amezcua secured the hard-fought victory, showcasing the team’s attacking depth. The Beavers are eager to bounce back from a narrow 2-1 loss to Augustana State, where Amezcua recorded the lone goal.

This weekend presents a home-and-away challenge for the Beavers. On Friday, October 17 at 5 PM, Minot State will host Northern State at home, looking to continue their winning ways in front of their home crowd. Then, on Sunday, October 19, Minot State travels to face the University of Jamestown in a historic matchup. This game marks Minot State’s first meeting against Jamestown since they joined the NSIC, adding extra significance to the contest. Fans can expect a competitive and spirited game as both teams fight for conference positioning mid-way through the season.
