Hot Tots’ Hocking honored by Northwoods League

Dylan Hocking, the director of business development for the Minot Hot Tots and Honeybees as well as the managing partner for the Minot Hot Tots, was named the 2025 Northwoods League Baseball and Softball Most Valuable Team Member. The Hot Tots also won the Outstanding Theme Night honor for their Touch-a-Truck promotion in a vote conducted by team officials.

Hocking, a native of Eagle River, Alaska, has more than a decade’s worth of sales and communication experience and has served as the public address announcer for the Hot Tots since their inaugural season. It didn’t take long for his impact to be felt on the organization, as he doubled the sponsorship revenue and launched the community sales associate internship program in partnership with Minot State University.

Touch-a-Truck-Night took place at Corbett Field on June 20th, allowing fans the opportunity to get up close and personal with heavy machinery, even allowing them to climb inside and interact. The event encouraged local businesses and sponsors to bring their vehicles to the ballpark for the fans to enjoy.

Other award winners included the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders winning the Promotion of the Year in baseball for their Caleb Durbin nights and the Green Bay Rockers taking home the Community Program of the Year award for their Educators Appreciation Night.

The Madison Night Mares won all three softball categories, winning Promotion of the Year for their O’Keefe Jerseys, the Community Program of the Year for their Rally Cap program and the Outstanding Theme Night for Pride Night.

Starting at $2.99/week.
