It’s been a stellar senior season for Minot State University (MSU) guard Emma Mogen, one that didn’t go unnoticed by the rest of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC).

After leading the Beavers in scoring, rebounding, assists, and steals this season, the 5-foot-8 guard from Watford City, North Dakota was voted to the All-NSIC 2nd Team by the league’s coaches.

A four-year starter for the Beavers (10-20 overall), Mogen saved her best for her final season as she led MSU in scoring at 12.4 points per game, in rebounds with 5.3 boards per game, in assists with 69 and steals with 37. She finished the year with a career-best season in points with 371, rebounds with 160, and those 69 assists.

Along with single-season career highs, she added career-best games with 29 points at Winona State on February 15, and 15 rebounds at St. Cloud State on February 8.

The honor is the first for Mogen, who finished her career Wednesday in the Beavers’ 64-53 NSIC Tournament loss at St. Cloud State. She finished her time at Minot State with 763 career points, 406 rebounds, 173 assists, and 102 steals in 97 games.
