Magician grapplers place eighth at Sidney Eagles Invite
SIDNEY, Mont. — The Minot High boys wrestling team traveled to Montana to take part in the Sidney Eagles Invite with teams from several states. The Western Dakota Association (WDA) had four teams at the event.
Post Falls, Idaho, won first place with the hosts from Sidney taking second place and Lockwood, Montana, rounding out the top three.
Williston placed fifth with 121.5 points while Minot High finished eighth with 94.5 points. Dickinson finished 12th with 69 points at the invite.
Korbin Kraft at 126-lbs was the top wrestler for the Magicians. He finished with a 4-1 record over the two-day event and came away with the second place mark. At 215, Lincoln Brooks posted a 3-1 record and also came away with a second place finish.
Kaden Kraft at 150 finished the invite at 5-1 and took third place at the event. Liam Neff at 285 posted a 4-2 record and nabbed fifth place over the two days. Tucker Nelson also wrestled at 215 and had a 2-3 record with a seventh place finish for Minot High as well.
Minot High will be at Bismarck High on Thursday for a WDA dual.
