As the top seed in the district 12 volleyball tournament, Our Redeemer’s Christian School worked the court from all angles in the opening set of the championship game against the very talented and evenly matched South Prairie-Max Royals.

With constant lead changes and tied scores, the energy of the opening frame carried the Knights to the 25-21 win for the 1-0 lead.

Despite keeping pace with the Royals, some serious net play by South Prairie-Max gave the edge in the second frame all the way to the eventual 25-20 score for the Royals and the 1-1 mark to even the contest.

South Prairie-Max got up early with a 4-0 lead in the third frame only to see the Knights work back into a 7-7 tie. The same tie game through from 7-7 until the later stages kept the fans guessing.
