UND slips to No. 15, NDSU still No. 1

GRAND FORKS – Following the 41-40 overtime loss at Youngstown State, the University of North Dakota (UND) slipped to No. 15 in both the Stats Perform Poll and American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Coaches’ Top 25 Poll.

The Missouri Valley Football Conference (MVFC) has five teams represented in the Stats Perform Poll. North Dakota State University (NDSU) remains at the top, while South Dakota State University (SDSU) slipped to No. 3 and the University of South Dakota (USD) remains No. 5. UND dropped to No. 15 and Illinois State rounds out the poll for the conference at No. 21.

In the AFCA Coaches’ Top 25, the league continues to have six teams ranked. The Bison remain at No. 1, followed by the Jackrabbits at No. 3 and Coyotes at No. 5. The Fighting Hawks dropped to No. 15, while the Bears (No. 17) and Redbirds (No. 19) remain in the top-20.

No. 15 North Dakota will visit Indiana State on Saturday, November 2, while NDSU will host Northern Iowa the same day.
