Minot State’s goalkeeper Siriana Gudino is perfect on the young season, stopping all 10 shots she’s faced through two contests.

That effort by the Beavers keeper, who posted back-to-back shutouts, earned her NSIC Goalie of the Week honors.

Turning aside all five shots she faced in the season opener on the road Thursday, Gudino recorded her fifth shutout at Minot State and led the Beavers to a 1-0 win over host Northwest Nazarene University.

Unbeatable once again on Saturday in a neutral-site contest against Chaminade, Gudino recorded shutout No. 6 as a Beaver with five more saves in a 0-0 draw with the Silverswords.

Gudino and the rest of the Beaver women’s soccer team (1-0-1 overall) now return to the friendly confines at Herb Parker Stadium to make their home debut as part of Homecoming, hosting Montana State Billings on Friday, September 13, at 6 p.m.
