The visiting Cougars had five games under their belts when they arrived in Minot. Number six would go their way over MSU.
Regina scored after roughly ten minutes of play for their first goal. The Cougars second goal came near the midpoint of the first half on a penalty kick situation.
MSU will host Concordia College today at 3 p.m. for their second exhibition game prior to starting the season on the road. The exhibition game today is free for spectators.
