Minot wrestling trio each earn silver at state

FARGO — Minot High girls fared well in Fargo at the North Dakota state wrestling tournament.

Kiera Aguilar battled with top seeded Emily Novak from Grand Forks to place second at 155 pounds.

Fellow Majette Danijah Moore lost to Cambree Anderson of Bismarck in the final at 190 pounds.

Third-seeded Hallie Nash from Minot High made her way to the final with top seeded Schnieder at 118 pounds, but lost in the end.

Des Lacs-Burlington junior Victoria Pasterz battled top seed Alexis Storsved from Mandan and brought home second place for the Lakers at 170 pounds.

After the individual section of the tournament ended, Bismarck tallied 202 points for first place with Minot High in second with 172 points. Bismarck Legacy is at third place at 156 points while Central Cass sits in fourth place with 116. Bismarck Century rounds out the top five at 94 points.

Team duals take place today in Fargo.
