Minot High blanks Dickinson in season finale

The Minot High girls’ hockey team finished their season hosting Dickinson. The Majettes took a 1-0 lead after the first period and added three more goals in the second period. Neither team scored in the third period. The 4-0 win gave Minot High a 7-14-9-1 conference record, 8-14-0-1 overall.

Seventh grader Julia Stoner posted one goal in the first period and another in the second while senior Maicee Burke hit one in the second. Eighth grader Ava Beda finished out the scoring for the Majettes.

Minot High outshot the Midgets 43-25 in the win. Junior Piper Erickson had two assists while junior Cambel Johnson and sophomore Eve Slind each added assists.

Senior Jilian Ackerman was perfect in goal for the Majettes with all 25 saves. Both teams had two penalties each totalling four minutes.
