Three Beavers named to ACHA Women’s D1 All-Tournament Team

Following their run to the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) Women’s Division I championship game, a trio of Minot State Beavers were named to the ACHA All-Tournament First Team.

Leading the way is forward Jordan Kulbida, who put up four goals and four assists in four National Tournament games.

Joining Kulbida as the other forward named to the first team is Megan Norris, who totaled two goals and two assists in four National Tournament games.

Lastly, goaltender Haylie Biever was named to the first team after an outstanding tournament in net. In a total of three games, Biever stopped 83 out of the 87 shots she faced and shutout Midland University in the semifinals, helping Minot State secure a championship game bid.

Making up the rest of the ACHA All-Tournament First Team were members from the national champion Liberty Flames. Forward Brityn Fussy and defenders Peyton Carle and Madison Glynn were the three Flames to round out the team.

The ACHA All-Tournament Second Team is composed of Tess McKerrow (forward, Adrian College); Macy Piche (forward, Adrian College); Jenna Grosdidier (forward, Midland University); Maggie Marcotte (defender, Midland University); Aria Groot (defender, McKendree University) and Maya Gonzalez (goalie, Miami of Ohio).
