Class B basketball polls released

The Class B basketball season is slowly coming to an end, with district and regional tournaments set to take place next month.

As teams are preparing for postseason play, they continue crafting their resume as they get ready to make a run at the ultimate prize.

This week, the latest North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association (NDAPSSA) Class B boys’ and girls’ basketball polls were released, as teams see where they stand among some of the best heading into the end of the year.

Here’s the Class B boys’ basketball poll top ten, as well as others receiving votes:

1, Four Winds/Minnewaukan; 2, Central Cass; 3, Bishop Ryan; 4, Sargent County; 5, Ellendale; 6, Thompson; 7, Beulah; 8, North Border; 9, Grafton; 10, Standing Rock.

Others Receiving Votes: Shiloh Christian, Bowman County, North Star, Hazen, North Prairie.

Here’s the Class B girls’ basketball poll top ten, as well as others receiving votes:

1, Rugby; 2, Thompson; 3, Kenmare-Bowbells; 4, Central McLean; 5, Central Cass; 6, May-Port-CG; 7, Garrison; 8, Shiloh Christian; 9, Oakes; 10, Bowman County.

Others Receiving Votes: Carrington, Kindred, Northern Cass, Beulah.
