The North Dakota State University women’s and men’s track & field teams will host the Dakota Alumni Classic this Friday, Dec. 3, at the Shelly Ellig Indoor Track & Field Facility on campus.

Multi-events competition will begin with the men’s pentathlon 60m hurdles at 11:30 a.m. Field events start with the men’s weight throw at 1 p.m. and the women’s pole vault and high jump at 3 p.m. Running events are scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. on the track and are expected to conclude by 6:45 p.m.

Schools expected to compete with NDSU include North Dakota, MSU Moorhead, Bemidji State and Valley City State.

The Bison men and women swept the Summit League indoor team titles last season. The NDSU women have won 14 consecutive Summit League indoor titles, while the NDSU men have won nine indoor championships in the past 14 years.
