Preseason approaches for Minotauros

In preperation for the upcoming season, the Minot Minotauros have reported to training camp and hit the ice on Monday for the first time as a team. There are several position battles ahead as the North American Hockey League has returned to a pre-Covid 23 man roster this season.

Original preseason plans with Canada had to be scrapped with the border remaining closed. The Tauros will instead hold an intersquad scrimmage open to the public on Saturday, Sept. 3 at 7:30 p.m. The intersquad scrimmage will be free to the public.

Then on Sept. 10, the Minotauros will head to Dickinson to take on the Bismarck Bobcats at in the inaugural Duel in Dickinson. The next night, the rivalry moves north to Watford City for the third annual War in Watford. The two games against the Cats will wrap up the Tauros exhibition season prior to the NAHL Showcase.
