Tauros suffer weekend sweep in Minnesota

Minot’s losing skid has now reached four games following a pair of loses to the Minnesota Wilderness over the weekend.

On Saturday, Minot was on the short end of a 5-4 final in Minnesota. Minotauros forward Tyler Kostelecky scored a pair of goals in the loss. Brett Roloson and Cade Stibbe each contributed with two assists apiece for Minot.

In Sunday’s matchup, the Minotauros fell to the Wilderness 4-1. A first period power play goal from forward Ethan Schmunk on an assist from Roloson gave Minot its only offense of the afternoon.

With 13 wins and 29 points through 31 games, Minot remains in third place in the NAHL Central Division. Next up on the schedule, the Minotauros plan to travel to St. Cloud for a pair of games against the Norsemen on March 5 and 6.
