On Tuesday, it was announced that the Minot State University women’s basketball program has canceled its Jan. 15 and 16 home games against St. Cloud State.

The cancelation was precipitated due to concerns over the coronavirus. The two-game set between the Beavers and Huskies will not be rescheduled.

The Minot State women’s team is scheduled to play its next contest at home on Friday, Jan. 22 against Minnesota Crookston. Tipoff for that game is slated for 6 p.m.

Meanwhile, the MSU wrestling program also canceled its road duel against St. Cloud State due to coronavirus-related issues. The meet, which was originally scheduled for Thursday Jan. 14 at 7 p.m., will not be made up.

Minot State plans to resume its normal wrestling schedule at home against Northern State on Thursday, Jan. 21. The match is set for a 7 p.m. start time.
