Minotauros to play Friday with crowd restrictions

Scheduling changes for MSU men's and women's hockey

On Wednesday, the Minot Minotauros announced on their website that only their 600 season ticket holders will be permitted to attend their next game against the Aberdeen Wings on Friday.

This attendance restriction will be in effect until Dec. 14, or until otherwise directed by Governor Burgum. Meanwhile, concessions and beer sales will resume as normal. According to Minotauros’ director of operations Ken Oda, mask mandates for patrons will also be enforced.

As for the Minot State Beavers men’s hockey team, they announced a schedule change on their site on Nov. 17. MSU will play four final games in a five day span to finish the fall semester; Dec. 3 at Jamestown, Dec. 4 against the University of Mary at home, Dec. 5 at UMary and Dec. 7 at Jamestown. It was also announced the Beavers are no longer accepting season ticket or regular ticket requests at this time.

For the MSU women’s team, their three-game series against Midland University starting on Nov. 20 has been canceled. Their next contest will take place at the Maysa Arena against Adrian College on Friday, Jan. 15.
