Majettes defeat Coyotes once again

Ciara Parizek/MDN Sam Vonbokern finished the 100 yard fly with a time of 1:07.93 on Tuesday night. The Majettes swim and dive team won the meet, the final score showing Minot 122, Williston 61.

Emily Jensen said it was a nice meet for everyone on Tuesday night and “it was fun to see some double winners that don’t usually have that opportunity.”

One swimmer of note was Brynn Neumann, who is a senior this year, and she had two wins in the 200 yard individual medley and the 100 yard backstroke.

Emma Rouse was also a double winner in the 200 and 500 yard freestyles.

Jensen said they “had some real nice swims from kids all night, and “it is nice to see us coming together a little better [as a team].”

Their next WDA meet is scheduled for Nov. 7. More restrictions will be placed on entries this year because of COVID-19, but Jensen assured they will be ready when the time comes.
