MSU MBB keeps winning streak alive against Minnesota Crookston
CROOKSTON, Minn. — After Saturday’s contest in Crookston, two Minot State streaks are alive and well.
The MSU men’s basketball team (9-11, 3-11 NSIC) captured a 91-68 victory over Minnesota State Crookston (9-11, 5-9 NSIC). The Beavers captured their third consecutive win and claimed their 16th straight victory over the Golden Eagles
Senior guard Kyle Beisch paced the Beavers with a game-high 28 points on 11-for-13 shooting. Junior guard Max Cody contributed 22 points
The Beavers stormed out of the gates and held a 53-38 lead at halftime. When the dust settled, MSU finished with a scintillating 64.3% from beyond the arc.
In addition, the Beavers won the battle inside. MSU outscored Crookston 36-14 in the paint.
Junior forward Kody Dwyer scored 19 points and grabbed a team-high seven rebounds. Crookston’s Harrison Cleary scored a team-high 27 points.
MSU will take on Augustana (12-8, 7-7 NSIC) in Sioux Falls, S.D., at 7:30 p.m. next Friday.
