COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The nonconference calendar hasn’t been kind to the Minot State volleyball team.

The Beavers (0-8) wrapped up the Mountain Lion Invitational in Colorado without a win this past weekend.

MSU was swept in all four games with losses to the Colorado School of Mines (25-14, 25-17, 25-19), Angelo State (25-15, 25-14, 25-21), Arkansas Fort Smith (25-10, 25-20, 25-18) and Colorado at Colorado Springs (25-21, 25-16, 25-17).

Through eight games this season, Shelby Spuller leads MSU with 72 kills, followed by Emily Falldorf (45) and Amarrie Welton (45). Mackenzie Froehlich has been the primary setter with 184 total assists. Libero Karli Koza leads the way defensively with 91 digs, and Hayley Swain has put up a team-high 24 blocks.

The Beavers next test is the NSIC opener and home opener against Sioux Falls at 5 p.m. Friday inside the MSU Dome.
