Larson verbally commits to MSU basketball
The Minot State men’s basketball team is adding yet another local stud to its roster, as soon-to-be Minot High School senior Easton Larson announced his commitment on Wednesday via Twitter.
After coming off the bench his sophomore year with the Magicians, the 6-foot-6 center flourished during his junior year as a consistent starter.
Larson averaged a team-high 6.5 rebounds per contest – 2.5 of which were offensive. The imposing big man also tallied 10.1 points per game and shot 50.4 percent from the floor.
Larson will have a familiar face on the Beavers’ roster in current Magi teammate Jaxon Gunville. The fellow soon-to-be senior also committed to Minot State on June 8 via Twitter.
Because Larson is in the class of 2020, he must wait until November to officially sign with the Beavers.
