Due to persistent rain and wet field conditions in Dickinson, the West Region Softball Tournament has been moved to the South Hill Softball Complex in Minot.

Dickinson High School Activities Director Guy Fridley said in a tweet: “We gave it our best to keep the fields dry in Dickinson but mother nature did not cooperate.”

The quarterfinals will start as scheduled today at 11 a.m. in Minot.

Also altered due to weather is the West Region Baseball Tournament. The quarterfinal games today are being moved to the First International Bank & Trust Field at the Sanford Sports Complex near Legacy High School in Bismarck. At this time, all other games will be played as originally planned at Dakota Community Field.
