MSU women’s golf with highest finish ever at NSIC Championships
MORTON, Minn. – Minot State junior Miriam Dumes carded an 80 in the final round on Sunday to land on the NSIC All-Tournament team with a fifth place finish at the 2019 NSIC Championship at Dacotah Ridge Golf Club in Morton, Minnesota.
Minnesota State won the team title with a three-round score of 952.
Augustana placed second with a 985 while Minot State finished third with a score of 995. The third place finish is the highest in school history for the Beavers.
Dumes scored three consecutives rounds with a card of 80 to finish with a total of 240.
Alexandra Demko scored a 79 on Sunday to card a total three-round score of 241 to place seventh, individually.
Katherine McGlenen finished tied for 14th place after scoring an 81 in the final round.
Kaitlyn Hill recorded a 94 in the final found to finish tied for 34th place on the leaderboard with teammate Kira Dereniwsky after Dereniwsky scored a 91 on Sunday.
