Laumeyer, Krueger set DII school records in Moorhead
MOORHEAD, Minn. – Taylor Laumeyer and Logan Krueger continue to set school records this season as the pair set record-breaking marks at the Cobber Twilight in Moorhead, Minn. on Tuesday.
On the Track
Dante Gadbois, Colin Olson, Chiti Nkhuwa and Franck set a season-best by 10 seconds to place second with an unofficial time of 3:29.
The men’s 4×100-meter relay team made up of Daniel Daffinrud, Cole Franck, Ethan Feist and Devin Kramer clocked a time of 44.30 to place second. Daffinrud then placed fifth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.08.
Nkhuwa covered a lap of the track in 52.42 seconds to finish fourth in the 400m.
Erin Winterton, Brinlie Nielsen, Autumne Haskell and Amanda Mohr won the 4×400-meter relay with a 25 second season-best unofficial time of 4:14.
Abby McGee placed sixth in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 5:03.17 while Nielsen recorded a finish of 5:14.51 to place eighth.
Winterton, Cassandra Daniel, Haskell and Mohr posted a second place finish in the 4×100 relay with a time of 52.32.
In the Field
Laumeyer tossed the discus 40.47 meters to set a Division II school record, her second straight weekend of setting a school record. Shae Pedersen posted a distance of 5.00 meters to place sixth in the long jump.
Krueger broke a record he already set previously this season with a launch of 13.27 meters in the shot put. Feist recorded a sixth place finish with a leap of 6.24 meters in the long jump.
