MSU men’s cross country finishes 26th at Central Regional

KEARNEY, Neb. – The Minot State men’s cross country team finished 26th in the team standings at the NCAA Central Regional in Kearney, Neb., totaling 827 points.

Augustana won the team title with 43 points while Missouri Southern finished second with 156 points.

Devan Shumway led the Beavers with a time of 35:55.7 in the 10,000-meter race. Shumway scored 145 points while finishing 147th overall out of 181 runners.

Steven Porter crossed the finish line second for Minot State, finishing 153rd overall with a time of 36:18.9.

Colin Olson covered the course in a time of 40:34.1 while scoring 175 points and finishing in 177th place.

Tory Bergan finished fourth for Minot State, placing 179th overall with a time of 41:27.5.

Capping the scoring for the Beavers, Sahil Pandit clocked a time of 42:08.3 while finishing 181st overall.
