Measure 1 is constitutionally deficient

Better options exist than term limits

I think there has to be a better way to address this issue, and all the out of state money funding this measure is a big red flag that there is more to it than what is being told to the voter.  More than 50% of the legislators have been turned over according to Darrell Lies and his talk show so there really is no reason to do this; the question is why is it being pushed.  A better way to keep everyone honest is to pass a law to keep all the funding for candidates local. There is no good reason to make it easy for more access to an illicit, insidious drug. Term limits will hurt state

Mike Motschenbacher , Bismarck On the November 8th ballot voters are going to vote on term limits. It is very important that the voters know all the facts prior to doing so. The first fact is that this measure only institutes term limits for the Governor and State Legislators. This measure does not affect any statewide elected officials such as Attorney General, Tax Commissioner, or Secretary of State for example. It also does not affect any Federal seats.
