Questions arise around elections measure

James Maxson, Minot

There is now a petition being passed around with the stated goal of protecting election integrity in future North Dakota elections.

There are several questions the citizens of our state may wish to consider. County auditors are the boots on the ground regarding North Dakota elections. Do they think there is a problem? The North Dakota Secretary of State is the overseer of elections statewide. Does he think there is a problem? Who are the culprits? Those pesky Democrats who hold 16 of the 141 seats in the state legislature? Is a 11.3% minority a threat to freedom? Is it Jewish beams from space? Are Jews still our scapegoats? Is it interference from Italian satellites?  If those Italians can make the moon hit our eye like a big pizza pie, hard telling what else they are capable of.

Why have recent election challengers lost 64 of their 65 lawsuits? Why did Faux News voluntarily pay damages of $887,500,000.00 to an election machine company for slander? Isn’t that a bit excessive for a “frivolous lawsuit”?

Which citizens would this measure cause more difficulty to vote? Are those supposedly seeking to fool proof North Dakota elections merely fools without proof? Inquiring minds need to know.
