On June 10, 2023, there was a statement made that 85% of budget money (I believe from property taxes) goes for emergency services, such as law enforcement, etc.

Where will that 85%, dollars, come from (if not from property taxes) to cover the line item of emergency services?

If you believe a volunteer (without pay) for budgeted emergency services works, I would like you to cite any principality in American that has one like that and that it works for the common and greater good of the people who live or visit that principality or rural area.

My belief is that the people who fought and those still fighting for America did that so we are the land of the free because of the brave. (I heard that statement in the ’70s.)

In addition, I believe that they did that so persons like me who choose to live without carrying a weapon may choose to live that way and live safely.

Some thoughts and one question: where will the money (85%) come from?
