Context shows forgiveness, not lack of sin

Thoughts on Mr. James Maxson’s comment on what Jesus had to say regarding the woman who was caught in adultery. Jesus comments regarding “Let those among you who are without sin cast the first stone.”
Jesus knew that we are all sinners and none of us are without sin. That is why Jesus came to earth to die for us because Jesus was sinless and could pay for our sin if we accept Jesus’s gift of salvation and forgiveness and have a personal relationship Him. Jesus also knew that their reason for judging the woman was to trap Jesus. The rest of the comment which Jesus made to the woman was omitted from Mr. Maxson’s letter. Context is so important when quoting the Bible. Jesus said to the woman when those condemning her had left. “Then neither do I condemn you; Go and sin no more.” [John 8:11} shows that Jesus saw the sin. Jesus didn’t approve of it but wanted the woman to be free of sin.
I am so thankful that throughout the Bible what is sin is made clear. I also know that I have sinned but my job is to confess sin whenever I am guilty and that forgiveness is granted to me.
