Recently in this Letters section some “experts” multiplied names, as if counting heads is the way to determine truth (argumentum ad populum), and posted their self-perceived impressive credentials and degrees in an argument from authority or supposed expertise (argumentum ad verecundiam). They did so in a transparent attempt to present the indisputable trump card in any given debate, “we’re the experts, you’re not, so you must shut up and listen, obediently accepting all we say as gospel truth for, after all, we have letters after our names.” Given the fact “the experts” recently got just about everything concerning Covid wrong, you might think the “professionals” would be somewhat humbled and reluctant to play that same trump card again but, no, out of the deck it came yet again.

The issue this time was their support for “transgendersim” (the “T” in LGBTQIA+), more accurately termed transvestism (the parading around in the opposite sex’s clothing) since there has never been one person who has changed, “transitioned” from, their birth sex to the opposite sex, either by cutting off, or adding, body parts. Additionally, on a related topic, a combination reality check and public service announcement: the current world population is over 8 billion people and each and every one of these persons was born from a woman, not one from a man. Now how about those remarkable odds?!

It is absolutely astounding, and would have been so to anyone in the course of human history, until about 15 minutes ago, that the liberal apostate mainline denominational clergy who deny the crystal clear teaching of Scripture on this subject, and some from the medical community whose oath used to be, first and foremost, to “do no harm” would support the chemical castration, as well as the genital mutilation of children, the snipping off of breasts from healthy teenage girls, and the castration and the chopping off of the penises of young boys in a vain attempt to change something that can never be changed, namely their birth sex. All this madness is employed to try to conform reality to the young person’s delusion, instead of helping unstable and confused minors adjust themselves to reality.

If the medical and theological “experts” can’t figure out that the best and blatantly obvious course of action is not to change the body (through powerful and destructive hormones and surgery) to try to match the mind, but rather to help the person be at peace with his or her natural God-given body, don’t you think you’re better off relying on your own moral compass (if informed by the Word of God), or at least the natural revelation found in creation (the physical universe and science) and your conscience, along with a modicum of common sense? Reject, avoid, and both spiritually and legislatively oppose these transparently deceived and morally deficient “experts.”

“For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to Him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools . . . ” (Romans 1:21-22).
