Be kind to postal workers

I’m writing in regard to the challenges our post office is facing right now.
I recently stood in line for over two hours to pick up our held mail after being gone. The people in line visited and were pleasant. As I got closer to the clerks, I watched in disgust as a woman took her frustration out on the clerk. Everyone could hear what her issue was and she had good reason to be frustrated.
I hoped I’d get that clerk and I did. I told her I don’t know how they do this every day and this is out of the clerk’s control and I thanked her for showing up for work every day.
Kindness goes a long way. I waited a long time like everyone else. These clerks are at it for eight or more hours a day. Please be kind!
