In the 18 Jan editorial, MDN asked where the money for the Anne Street bridge would come from? It’s my understanding projects are funded mostly or entirely with property and sales tax revenues. The writing is already on the wall for these projects. It’s been my experience, that unless you’re for the project, you should keep your mouth shut. I predict the City and Minot Parks will approve these and other projects funding them by increasing property taxes. Next year’s property tax bill is going to cause sticker shock for a lot of people.
