Vote yes to meet challenges

Co-presidents of the Minot Nu Chapter of North Dakota Delta Kappa Gamma

The Nu Chapter of North Dakota Delta Kappa Gamma is in support of a YES vote on December 7 to build a new high school in Minot.

We have approximately 90 members who have served in an educational setting at some time during the last 50 plus years. What a lot of years of experience in our group!

Some of our members remember the dedication of the “new” high school in 1971. What a proud day that was! And, yes, it seems like yesterday.

However, times change, people change, buildings change, and needs change. Yet, there is one constant, and that is the challenge to provide educational opportunities for all students. Minot has never backed down from a challenge. Today the challenge is space and growth. A growing community must recognize the crowded conditions in our schools. We have the opportunity to utilize a building on North Hill to meet the educational needs of our growing community.

We encourage you to vote yes on December 7. Our community and our young people need your support.
