Contributors bless pantry garden

Minot

Volunteerism is alive and well in Minot and the surrounding area. The Lord’s Cupboard Food Pantry has recently been greatly blessed by several area volunteers along with donations from three very generous area businesses. Over the past couple of weeks approximately 500 vegetable plants have been donated by Lowe’s Garden Center and the Green Thumb Greenhouse.

In addition to the donated plants, Minot’s local Home Depot donated tomato cages that will help support the tomato plants during the growing and harvesting season.

On June 1, 2021, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. fourteen volunteers helped plant and put cages around 200 tomato plants at the Lord’s Cupboard garden site which is located out near Velva, ND. All of this makes my heart sing.

Thank you. Thank you to ALL.
