After watching the events in Washington, D.C., this afternoon on television and listening to President Trump’s tepid response on Twitter I cannot escape the conclusion that it’s past time for him to be removed from office.

Waiting until January 20th is just asking for more mayhem and dysfunctional governing. I think it’s incumbent upon all Americans and the press as guardians of American liberty to call for his immediate impeachment and removal from office to forstall any further unprecedented attacks by Donald Trump on our government and democratic institutions. His encouragement of an armed mob to attack Congress is plainly unacceptable, unconstitutional, and seditious.

So my question for you is do you have the moral courage to make that call for immediate impeachment on the pages of your newspaper?
