Thank you to Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) for Cosponsoring the Reach Every Mother and Child Act (S.1766). There has been a significant reduction in global deaths of mothers and children under the age of five over the last twenty five years. However, there is still a far way to go with an average number of 800 mothers around the globe dying daily from pregnancy and childbirth, and over 17,000 children under the age of five dying daily of treatable conditions. Senator Kevin Cramer has taken a stand by voicing his support of this bill that will strengthen our U.S. government efforts to reduce and ultimately end these preventable deaths and you can to.
