Abortion reversal not medically sound

Elizabeth Larson, Minot

A local organization, Dakota Hope Clinic, recently held a fundraiser featuring an “abortion reversal” story. Dakota Hope Clinic claims to provide free medical and support services, yet abortion reversals are not backed by the medical community. In fact, a 2019 study published in Obstetrics and Gynecology showed again that abortion reversals are medically unsound and should not be the basis of laws or medical practice.

As a resident of Minot, I am concerned that this organization continues to promote a practice that is not credible and could even be harmful to its patients. I’d like to think that any “clinic” providing medical support to patients in our community would adhere to medically-accurate guidance.
