Let Task Force do its job

Carol Ova, Minot

I read the news article in the Thursday June 18th issue of the Minot Daily news. Defense attorney Ashley Gulke says the Ward County Narcotics Task Force work actions are “unacceptable.”

She states it targets black men getting off the train in Minot. With the article are pictures of people. They are White, Black, and Native American. This in not “racial profiling.” It is “criminal profiling.” If the persons getting off the train (no matter what race) are being investigated, let the Task Force do their job.

Keeping fentanyl and heroin out of our communities does not happen by protecting the traffickers.
