Minot

This is in reference to Richard Pardon’s letter of October 12th about buying locally.

Shortly after the article appeared in the MDN that the city had purchased police vehicles and purchased them out of state I sent a letter to the editor questioning this.

You see just shortly before this article there were articles of we as Minot citizens should buy locally. I wondered WHY did Minot not only not buy locally, they did not even buy in state. My letter did not get published so after a few weeks I resent the letter. Again it did not get published. Why?

I thought, well maybe I got the facts wrong and let it go. But now with the letter from Richard Pardon, he must have read the same article that I did about buying police vehicles out of state.

Thank you Mr. Pardon for clarifying my question of why we should buy locally but the City of Minot seems to think they are exempt from this.
