Recently, right-wing blogger Rob Port of The Forum posted a short piece calling 16-year-old environmental activist Greta Thunberg a “dead-eyed Swede.”

Further, Port posted on Twitter, calling her a “ranting idiot.”

Greta and children like her are the future leaders of our world. She speaks intelligently about environmental concerns. Instead of denigrating her, calling her names, and saying she doesn’t know what she’s talking about, we should show her respect and listen to her message. As the chairman of the North Dakota Renewable Energy Caucus, I can’t begin to tell you how disgusting, depraved, and immature Rob Port’s behavior really is.

I am urging the Minot Daily News cease publishing his articles. His behavior is inexcusable, and he needs to be made an example of.
