The community will be getting a huge snow-job if we believe that parking won’t be a problem at the proposed Blu project.

I have heard the development side explaining that LMI (low-moderate income) residents will have no car, or one car, and walk around. Rubbish.

LMI households, like others, will have two or more vehicles, plus ‘guests’, and vehicles that never move. It’s a guarantee.

A situation that is next to impossible to control, but always hidden in the developers’ argument. Anything to make the ‘sale.’

History will repeat if off-street parking is not addressed and properly provided.

If the development is so wonderful, why not utilize one of the white elephant parking garages downtown? They are structurally designed for just that purpose.
