Here is something I don’t understand. How come the gathering space is going to be built around railroad tracks and the flood zone? What if it floods again, then we have to ask the government for more money.

I think, and this is just my opinion, I think it has to do with more of what is UNDER the soil or has something to do with NAWS. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but I’ll figure it out. To get the digging permits for that area, I have to go through the Corps of Engineers in Minnesota. I just want people to think what is going on in the city. I’m not trying to cause trouble, but let me tell the citizens of Minot something. Things are not right here and somebody is doing one of two things.

Lining peoples pockets or taking advantage of all that money that was spent. We don’t know where all those millions went. I know a lot of people want to know what happened to it all. It’s suppose to be public record. A lady I know asked for some records and the city wants to charge her $55 for the paper work. If it’s public record put it out there. Let us look at it. What are they trying to hide?

I have had people call me on the phone and ask me if I thought there was a “good ole boys” club in Minot. I am more than positive there is. I believe that, but again this is my opinion. The people that I have talked to have stated that “look at the rich,” they get richer and the working class men and women have to work 60 hours a week for 40 hour pay.

Like I have said before I know people that haven’t gotten a raise in this town for some going on 7 years. One of the men I know works for a very large company in town and hasn’t received one in 7 years, but his taxes keep going up and up. How is he or anybody suppose to save money and live when this keeps happening?

I have talked to people on North Hill – on one street their taxes went up $600 per year on top of what they pay now. The guy across the street his taxes went up $52. Yes I said $52. I have seen the tax records on their properties. Can anybody explain this to me?

When it comes time for reelection, ask a lot of questions and get the answers you want. How many of you have been disappointed after the person you voted for didn’t come through for you? We will have to see what happens next time. Good luck to everybody and may God have mercy on us all!!

The main thing is to remember to vote, for who you think will do the BEST JOB and LISTEN to you and HEAR what you have to say.

Again, I want to stress I want the citizens to THINK and think hard.
