City doesn’t need Trinity property

Tony Allex

Minot

I am writing to voice my concern about the Trinity properties that will be abandoned by Trinity when the new hospital is complete. It was recently in the news that the City of Minot was looking into what could be done with the properties. It is my opinion and the opinion on everyone I speak to that the City in no way should be involved and no taxpayer money be spent on these buildings! It is Trinity’s property and they should be the ones to deal with it. Sell it to private industry, give it away to private industry or tear them down. Trinity may offer to sell or give the old hospital to the city. We should not buy it or accept it as a gift. The taxpayers in Minot do not need another tax burden!
