As Christians we have just been through the trials of Lent, the sorrow of Good Friday and the celebration of Easter Sunday. In the Passion of Christ the Gospel explains how the chief priests, elders and scribes were looking for a way to arrest Jesus and kill him. Jesus was “brought to justice” and though many offered false testimony against him both Herod and Pontius Pilate could not find him guilty of any crimes. The “people” ignored the Law and insisted incessantly that Jesus be crucified. As Jesus breathed his last an eclipse darkened the Earth and the centurion who witnessed it proclaimed “This man was innocent beyond doubt.”

Fast forward 2,000 years to today. How ironic is it that President Trump has just been through a 2 year investigation also filled with false accusations/testimony and the “powers at be”, Mueller and his band of ALL DEMOCRAT pit-bull Lawyers, could not find him guilty of any crimes. NO “Russian Collusion”, no criminal “Obstruction of Justice”. Even though President Trump has been found NOT GUILTY, the rabid Democrats, their leadership and the “fake news” media continue to ignore his innocence, ignore the law and continue their rabid fomentation of “Impeach Him! Impeach Him!……
