Thanks to the volunteers

Minot

The spirit of Christmas was alive and well as the Minot community came together to host the Community Christmas Day Meal for nearly 300 people seeking a hot meal and fellowship.

Attendees also decorated hundreds of sugar cookies and graham crackers houses while local musicians provided entertainment. In addition to the 150 volunteers who prepared appetizers and desserts, decorated the ballroom, served the meal, provided transportation, and created a welcoming space, many individuals, businesses, and organizations provided financial support.

A special thank you goes to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul – Minot, Minot Salvation Army, Minot Area Men’s Winter Refuge, First Baptist Church, Minot Masonic Lodge, Visit Minot, and the Minot Daily News.

And finally, a most gracious thank you is in order to the Grand Hotel for openings its doors and to Chef Brian who prepared the delicious ham and turkey dinner with all the trimmings; a number of staff members joined the Chef in donating their time to make this all possible.

We are truly blessed to live in a community with such a generous heart. Thank you again to all who helped in any way. God bless each of you!
