Pot users less reliable

I am writing to urge a “No Vote” on Measure 3. My insight to essentially unlimited access to recreational marijuana stems from the time when I was in the Army in Vietnam. Not all of us who served there were drunk or drugged. It is my direct experience that a marijuana user were less reliable and more likely to get his fellow soldiers injured than even the most of the actions of a hardcore alcoholic.
I also agree that Lloyd Omdahl’s assessment of the additional budgetary needs of the Social Services Support System here in North Dakota is spot on if the Measure 3 initiative prevails. I think that we have enough problems with the present users of black market marijuana without inviting additional incentives to abuse a clearly psychoactive product whose dosage would not be regulated or controlled or even monitored.
A no on 3 is best for our state and its residents.
