ND says it wants to get people out of prison, that prisoners should be getting mental health services. My family is in a mental health prison, a prison without bars.

I have begged the governor, the legislature, etc. for help and all I get is nothing. I have pointed to them how Minnesota has a waiver that would help. They won’t even try.

I don’t understand why my child is less important to the Governor than an adult addict in the alley behind his home. I don’t understand why children are less important to the legislature than the criminals in the penitentiary.

Can someone please help? Is there anyone willing to help? Anyone?

My wonderful boy has a several medical problems, we try taking care of ourselves, but insurance doesn’t cover what he needs. I’ve spent many hours begging for help but get nothing. It seems no one really cares about him. It takes everything we’ve got and more, and we need some help, now.
