Trinity’s new campus boon to Minot and region

The long awaited time has arrived for the new Trinity Health medical campus hospital in southwest Minot to open next week.

Opening of the new state-of-the-art hospital and later the medical office building will be a boon to Minot and this region.

Good healthcare and a facility to most efficiently deliver those services are so important to patients and their families.

Minot’s new hospital has been planned and designed throughout to give more space, more patient privacy and a better service delivery.

This new facility is a necessary tool to carry out high-level healthcare in this region.

According to Dr. Scott Knutson, Trinity’s chief of medical staff, Trinity daily provides about 10,000 patient care visits, more than 100 emergency room visits and 50 surgeries.

Looking ahead to the future of healthcare in Minot and the region, Knutson said Trinity sees the new facility as a recruitment tool in growing its medical staff and as a necessity in meeting the needs of today’s healthcare.

Not only will the new facility be an asset for healthcare but also for economic development of Minot and region.

Looking back, Trinity has served the Minot community and region for many years. We believe it will continue to serve the healthcare needs of this area for many years into the future.

Today there will be a ribbon cutting at 11 a.m. and an open house continuing until 2 p.m. at the new hospital. The public is invited to the events. We urge everyone interested to attend the events today and see this new healthcare facility.
