Doris Ann Huss, 86 of Hudson FL, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2026 at the Dr. Jay Weil Care Center in New Port Rickey, FL.
Doris Ann Huss 86, died October 25, 2026. She was born May 30, 1940 in Stanley, ND to Albin and Mable (Ballard) Hammer.
She was raised in Plaza, ND where she graduated in 1958. She married Norris Abrahamson in 1959 and they were blessed with 5 children.
She received an associate degree from Minot State College.
She was a great mother, farm wife, teacher, day care operator and a devoted Christian. She loved to sew, cook and read her bible.
In 1995 she married Duane Huss and they lived in Beulah, ND, until moving to Florida in 2016.
Doris was preceded in death by her grandparents; parents; her brother, Allen; and husband Duane.
She is survived by daughter, Shari (Olee); sons, Mark (Robin), Wade, Barry, and Brent (Lorie); 5 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Doris's funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 14, 2026 at Plaza First Lutheran Church in Plaza, ND. Burial will be held at East Community Cemetery in Plaza, ND. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
