Sharon Kay Weber, 85, Minot, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2026, in a Velva care center surrounded by family.
Sharon was born April 12, 1941, in Spirit Lake, Iowa, the daughter of Vaughn and Ruby (Zimmer) Domino. She graduated from Minot High School in 1960 and went on to work as a secretary until she met the love of her life, Arno Weber.
Sharon married Arno Weber on February 17, 1962, at Augustana Lutheran Church. They made their home in Minot and welcomed four children. She worked as a Secretary at Papineau Insurance Agency for many years, as well as other local businesses. Sharon was active in the Augustana Lutheran Church Community until her and Arno's retirement.
After retiring, they spent their summers at Sherwood Forest in Minnesota. There she worked at the resort's front desk and helped with housekeeping. They traveled to many different locations to see family as well as Germany and other places in Europe. Some of her favorite times were spent with her siblings, sharing stories and playing games together.
She had many hobbies, including crocheting, reading, and playing games. Her family will cherish the beautifully crocheted blankets, doll clothes, and other thoughtful gifts she lovingly made for them. They will fondly remember the game nights. She was a Yahtzee master.
Sharon is survived by her daughter Lynnette (Gary) Long, Minot; son David (Karen) Weber, Minot; daughter Carrie (Phillip) Franklin, Stafford, VA; Grandchildren - Joshua (Courtney) Long, Steven Weber, Kathleen Weber, Jaymee (Brandt) Doerr, Eric (Devon) Weber, Drew Long, and Dorian Franklin; Great Grandchildren - Jude, Anakin, Destinee, Christopher, and Genevieve; Sisters and brothers: Darlene Getchell, Marylin Galleymore, Russell (Jeanice) Domino, Joyce Nistler, and Gerald Domino. Many nieces and nephews.
Sharon was preceded in death by her husband Arno; parents Vaughn and Ruby Domino; daughter Sandra Kay; brothers, Virgil Dean Domino, Robert Neil Domino, and Ronald Domino; sisters, Geraldine Domino, Ruby LaVonne Danielson, and Shirley Anderson.
Celebration of Life Service: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at Christ Lutheran Church, Minot. To view a livestream of the service or share memories and condolences, access her obituary at www.thomasfamily funeralhome.com.
Interment: Fargo National Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation: One hour prior to the service at the church.
Memorials are preferred to Trinity CancerCare Center, Minot.
